Skyler,

Yes you will need to register them at least once.   This will ensure
that the database is updated with a date between now and February.


You don't need to keep them registered if you don't want to.  


However, you can also do dual registration by adding an additional
register => <node>:<password>@register.pttlink.org line in
/etc/asterisk/iax.conf for each of these nodes.   This will allow you to
have the nodes listed on both networks. 


Once app_rpt has support for multiple networks, you will be able to take
advantage of being registered on both.  For now, you will only be able
to use the other network when dialing unless you change the nodelist
download script to download from pttlink.org instead.
